Do Not Mock

" S p e a k G o o d o r R e m a i n S i l e n t "

As I flipped thru the Noble Quran last night after recitation, I came across this message from Allah swt and thought it is important for me to save it here for my own reference and future reminder.

After much consideration, I thought I would humbly like to share it with you too...

May it benefit us all, In shaa Allah

The believers are but one brotherhood, so make peace between your brothers. And be mindful of Allah so you may be shown mercy. Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran

O believers! Do not let some ˹men˺ ridicule others, they may be better than them, nor let ˹some˺ women ridicule other women, they may be better than them. Do not defame one another, nor call each other by offensive nicknames. How evil it is to act rebelliously after having faith! And whoever does not repent, it is they who are the ˹true˺ wrongdoers. Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran

First and foremost, this isn't aimed at anyone...

We all sin differently, we unintentionally laugh at others over some silly things that may seem funny, we mock others over issues we find ridiculous, the fact is we always have different sets of opinions.

I personally find this message relates to everyone especially my humble self.
Allah SWT has clearly stated that we are not allowed to do so, hence I would like to seek forgiveness should I have intentionally, indirectly and unintentionally hurt anyone's feelings while our path crossed in life, while exchanging conversation, or even while we joke...

I'm Sorry, please forgive me..😥

Much Love,
R
