IT'S KRABI TIME! - DAY 1

Day 1 | Saturday, 17th November 2018

Its finally time for our annual family vacation and this year, we chosed Krabi, Thailand.

Started our day early and booked a cab from home to Changi Airport Terminal 2.

Upon reaching, kids were feeling all excited as it is their first time boarding a plane (except for Bbygal – she’d been to Sabah on a school trip years back).
Kids looking out for the details on departure board

We then checked-in our luggages and had a hearty breakfast at McDonalds. After which, we did what we all do best while waiting to board the flight.
LAZING aroundlah, what else right? Kids occupied their time by taking photos of each other & PUBG is still a must for them.~ 😁

Sincerely yours, Mumma Ros & Bubba Roz

Mode of Transportation: Scoot TR686 | Departure: 1420hrs

Fafan was so excited on his first flying experience that he leaned close to the window thru’out the flight to enjoy the view of nature’s best.

After about 2 hours in the air, we safely touched down at Krabi airport and were greeted by our friendly Krabi Taxi driver who drove us to the resort and a Klook agent who patiently waited to hand us our Thai Traveller Sim Card.
Thank God for the smooth arrangements and hassle-free transactions with both agents. If you’re travelling to Krabi and is currently sourcing for a driver or a local sim card provider, you may want to check them out too.
Definitely affordable and recommended!
(P/S: I wasn’t paid for recommending but I believe in sharing good services)

30 minutes later

tadaaaaa!

Alhamdulillah

Finally reached our destination!
Ao Nang Phu Pi Maan Resort was our choice of stay in Krabi. Its superb locaton and awesome services adds on to our beautiful trip.

Greeted with Salaam by the staffs even before we walked into the lobby made us felt welcome. They then served us their signature welcome drink and a cooling towel to freshen up before ushering us to the villa for our splendid 4 nights stay.
Mumma checked-in while Bubba checked the surrounding area

We were allocated to Villa No 5 & were told that its one of their best Villa with an awesome view of the pool

Time for a room tour..!

But of course, let's take a we-fie first!

Ok ok, let's go!

The awesome view of the pool from our porch
(sometimes pics just don't do justice)

We definitely loves the pool view from our private porch. Chilling in our very own comfort zone & enjoying some quiet moments together with kids safely in view are just what we need on a vacay. Awesome!!!

Our very own cozy porch for catching up session after swim

The 2 bedroom Premium unit comes with a King & Queen size bed plus a daybed in both rooms. It also has a huge sharing washroom, a little pantry and a mini dining area.
As we walked into the master bedroom, we were presented with a beautiful complimentary room setup for our 19th wedding anniversary, a fruity birthday cake for Bbygal and 2 bottles of sparkling juice to add on to our memorable trip.
Thank you guys!
We truly appreciate it!!

View from our room

Kids room has a mini garden view by the window and a daybed too. They were given extra pillows and comforter for a comfortable sleep thru’out the night. What else to ask for? They definitely enjoyed their room to the max!

In-case you are wondering if they have a pantry?

Yes they do!

The unit comes with a mini dining area, fridge, coffee maker and microwaves too.

Guess what!

The best part is, they replenish complimentary snacks and drinks daily. How cool is that!

Dining table however best fits 2 to 3 pax only, so don’t expect a table for 6 guys, its just as big as the one seen below.

Remember you can also sit at the porch and enjoy your snacks, breakfast, lunch or dinner?

So this, is good enough for us 🙂

Mini Dining Area
Very thoughtful & sweet of them to have it setup upon our check-in

One of the most important thing we always lookout for us when we travel is a clean washroom & a bidet.

Of cos it doesn’t have to be all sparkly, just clean enough for everyone to use comfortably.

Glad the staffs replenished all toiletries and necessities needed during our 5 days stay without us having to ask for any of it. The huge tub and dim lighting in the room is also perfect to make one feels relax while enjoying the complimentary salt bath too.

So much love for it, Good job Phu Pi Maan!!

Complimentary daily snacks, mineral water and soft drinks for the minibar ❤

Alrighty, that’s all for the room tour guys!
Basically, the kids and us love everything that was provided.
We definitely had an enjoyable and a pleasant stay at the villa.
Flawsome Travel Rule: Expect less and everything will turns out great!
After our short rest, we then proceeded to Ao Nang street for a sumptuous dinner from Bangboo Seafood Restaurant and booked our next day activity from one of the many street agents available.

AFFORDABLE & DELISH!!
Its convenient location is a plus point. You definitely won’t missed it if you’re in Ao Nang area.
For those who are keen to go,
Walk towards Ao Nang Mosque, the restaurant is just across the street.
After dinner, we walked down and hunt for more street foods.
YESSS!! More and more foods!! That’s what holiday is all about isn’t it? Be free & enjoy!
We also bought this yummylicious Nutella Pancake on our way home. Oh my!! Its a MUST try when you’re there guys! Kids & myself love it lots that we bought it almost every night.. YESSS every night!! 😀

Our choice ~ Banana Nutella Pancake in the making
~ YUMMYLICIOUS! ~
After some light shopping, we decided to call it a day. Everyone were so shagged by the time we reached the villa. Quickly washed up and all went to bed feeling full and happy.. 🙂
Me???
Of cos I felt so grateful and thankful that our day went very well and smooth as planned. All we need for the night was a good rest for our activity on the next day.
